American Pavement Preservation has done it again. This remarkable work completed on the residential streets of the City of North Las Vegas. American Pavement Preservation worked diligently to complete this schedule before these cold winter months arise. This work involved strategic planning by Management and Project Superintendents to ensure production was met daily.

American Pavement Preservation scope of work consisted of first the proper asphalt hot rubberized crack seal material applied with a hot rubber asphalt crack seal machine and an experienced American Pavement Preservation crew. During the second phase a heavy Type 2 Asphalt Slurry Seal application was applied on the existing asphalt surface. The asphalt surface of these streets prior to the application of the Type 2 asphalt slurry seal was in poor condition due to years of use. Many streets have had no prior surface treatment or seal coat.

The Type II asphalt slurry seal has provided a new surface on the street enhancing the property value and creating a refreshed and brand-new looking street that local residents are proud of resulting in a good surface treatment that should last for over 10 years.Asphalt Slurry Seal is the most widely used surface application by cities and counties across America.
