Eric holds the title of President for American Pavement Preservationâ€™s Asphalt Preservation team. His responsibilities include management of the asphalt slurry seal, seal coat, crack sealing, pavement striping, asphalt repair patching and small to mid-size paving operations and the seal coat manufacturing facility. He has over 30 years of experience in the preservation and placement in the asphalt pavement business. He began his career in 1982 operating the slurry machines and quickly advanced as a project manager with his first employer. At this time, he has built an organization around a growing industry throughout the Southwestern part of the United States. Eric has played an integral part in the education of the general public and public agencies on the benefits of implementing pavement preservation policies and applications. Through his involvement with the International Slurry Surfacing Association (ISSA), even holding the ISSAâ€™s title of President in 2004, Asphalt Institute, FAA and World of Asphalt he has provided training and education on methods and procedures for long term asphalt care. He has also been a valuable contributor to the Regional Transportation Committeeâ€™s policy development in writing the specifications necessary for the material used for slurry sealing surfaces. Eric remains passionate about the growing benefits to the communities who implement pavement preservation practices and looks forward to further expanding the message to others. He is very active in the day-to-day operations of the Company and takes a hands-on approach to servicing the clients of the Company ensuring every effort is expended to meet the customersâ€™ needs and expectations.
